Chinese Language and Culture Summer Program
1. Introduction
The
explosive trade growth between the U.S. and China,
and the increasing share the Chinese economy claims
in the global business sector, has made Chinese an
important business language. In addition, in the
strategic language initiative funded recently by the
U.S. government, Chinese has been listed as one of
the key languages. As such, American International
Education Associates (AIEA) has designed and
sponsored an intensive summer program focused on
Chinese language learning and culture exposure. This
two week program is based in Shanghai (the commerce
center of China) or Beijing (the capital city of
China). This program is designed for any one who is
interested in learning Chinese and having exposure
to Chinese culture. The program is hosted in a
government-endorsed private or public school with
first rate teaching facilities and dorms.
