Prep School and College Admissions Counseling

The United States is home to the finest colleges and universities in the world. As applications to prep schools, colleges and universities, and graduate programs rise every year, the landscape for admissions becomes more complex, competitive, time-consuming and bewildering to parents and students.

American International Education Associates simplifies the American admissions process and maximize the strengths of each applicant.  Care for the individual is our primary concern.  We help you excel.

Targeting Schools:  American International Education Associates will help families identify the secondary schools, colleges or universities, and graduate schools that will best fit their son or daughter’s academic profile.  A consultation will examine the needs and desires of each student and work to identify a variety of options. These choices become a starting point in your prep school or college selection process.

Prep School Admissions:  Studying in America will change a student’s life. Learning strong skills in English and a mastery of American culture provides the foundation for success in today’s global economy.  We identify the best school for your needs, set up a support system for you.

Graduate Program Admissions: We identify Masters, Doctoral and MBA programs for you.  What are the best programs?  What schools might offer free tuition and a graduate stipend?

Scholarship Applications: We will help you fill out financial aid, and scholarship application materials. How can you best position yourself to receive a scholarship?

Interview Preparation:   Should you have the chance to interview, what kinds of questions will a secondary school or college admissions officer ask me? How do I highlight my strengths in an interview?  What preparation needs to take place before a student begins interviewing?  A consultation with a student will help clarify strengths, and build confidence.

Activity Resume/College Essay: The resume admissions officers study presents students’ accomplishments in a concise, organized way.  How does a student give justice to all of his or her achievements?  What activities and honors should be highlighted?  How to explain experiences that might not be immediately clear to an admissions officer?

Personal Statement: The personal statement defines a student to admissions officers, and presents an opportunity to set yourself apart.  This opportunity allows the applicant to present a window on your own special, unique talents, abilities, interests, and beliefs. The personal statement also provides a forum to showcase your ability to write clearly and organize your thoughts --- talents essential for success in college.
